My first attempt at review disappeared so apologies if I’m repeating myself. Open and honest discussion at first consultation pointing out what was causing my problems. Options discussed in regard to the way forward and treatment. Pros and cons discussed in regard to treatment options. My expectations to my recovery from interventions and what restrictions I might have post operation. Following my operation I was informed how it had gone. At 6 week follow up, my progress was assessed and advise given on to continue with successful progress. I am very pleased with my treatment and how well I’m recovering.

Prior to the operation he shared the diagnosis and explained the procedure required to remedy the problem. Post operation he explained the results and outcome. Throughout he was very professional and friendly in his approach.

Mr Britton came across as being very professional and gave me a lot of confidence for what I considered to be major surgery. Explanations of procedures were clear and precise. He had carried out a hip replacement for me 2 years ago and I was extremely pleased that he could also do my other hip this year. Both were successful and should now make my outdoor mobility much easier.

I felt that Mr Britton really understood my position and needs. He made me feel like a person and not just part of a process. The surgery itself appears to have been a huge success and has given me a new lease of life. The recovery was swift and the pain I had previously felt all but gone. I am incredibly grateful for the work he has done. The face-to-face meeting to discharge me when he went through the scans and explained what everything meant was a really nice touch. I would like to like to offer some constructive feedback but I genuinely don't have any areas where I think Mr Britton could have improved the service offered.
